ART DIRECTION / MUSIC SINGLE ART

One thing that always puts me in a good mood is music. With this in mind, I am working on a ongoing project. I enjoy

re-designing or creating new artwork for singles, live recordings, and/or covers. Frequently I listen to performances not sold on iTunes or Spotify, therefore it doesn't have official artwork. I started this project because I was looking for a design challenge that would be fun, quick and rough. I started out with a handful of songs and it evolves every week. There are a couple of constraints because this is a speed drill. I'm not allowed to spend more than five minutes and I am limited to five fonts. I am a big fan of portraiture and I make sure to display that when I am creating. Also a common theme is using screenshots from live performances, if possible I like to use visuals from the actual recording to create the art. Pictured below you will see some of the designs that I have worked on and use in my music library.
