ART DIRECTION / LOGO DESIGN

Nikki Sulon is a children's yoga and dance instructor based in southern California. She came to me to develop branding for her new children's dance studio. Nikki was very upfront of what she wanted and had a clear vision of what Grace + Zen needed to look like. She had her business plan fully developed which lead her to create a pinterest board of what she envisioned. Because I had visuals for the studio itself, this allowed me to make clear design and color choices for the logo. We also wanted the logo to be bright and motivating for our young audience. Nikki was a easy client, we only went through about a dozen variations before we landed on what you see today. Below you will see the final logo, as well as the secondary lockup and two color version used for promotional materials.
